JobsOhio to invest $1.5 million in Northwest Ohio

On February 24, JobsOhio announced a $1.5 million investment in a marketing effort designed to increase the number of area workers with in-demand skills. JobsOhio is a private, nonprofit economic development corporation designed to heighten job creation and investment in the Buckeye State. The recently announced investment is designed to increase enrollment in programs to teach skills that are important to area industries. JobsOhio will work closely with area manufacturers and educational institutions as part of this program.
