Thousands of individuals in Lucas, Ottawa and Wood County saved money on essential medications in 2020 thanks to the United Way of Greater Toledo and FamilyWize, a pharmacy discount program.
Working in partnership, the United Way 2-1-1 program has helped people in the area sign up for the free FamilyWize discount card. This year alone, 4,515 area residents have saved over $300,000 on their medications as a result.
