Hospice of Northwest Ohio has partnered with the Toledo Lucas County Library to hold sessions in an effort to inform people on some of the advance care measures that they may not have in place already and help them remedy that aspect.
Sara Chambers from Hospice of Northwest Ohio will be the speaker for each session and will take you through the tasks from each session. After each session Chambers will give the opportunity to set up one-on-one appointments in the situation that you do not complete the tasks during the sessions if you wish to complete them all.
The first sessions will be held on Feb. 28 at 6 pm and will end at 7:30 pm in the Toledo Lucas County Library Oregon branch. After this session there are two more currently planned to happen at different months and at different branches.

These two sessions are set for one on March 27 at 10 am and run through 11 am Toledo Lucas County Library Mott branch. The final session that is currently planned is set for April 24 at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Washington branch.
The sessions will take you through how to complete things like a living will, designating a medical power of attorney and how to set up being an organ donor. These sorts of things leave a written and legal resource to better determine what kind of care you would like to receive in the situation that you are unable to make these kinds of decisions for yourself.
