The 2021 Marathon LPGA Classic, presented by Dana and sponsored by Kroger and O-I, will be held the week of July 5–11 at Highland Meadows Golf Club. The LPGA tournament will center around a new sustainability program, Simply Sustainable. This 100% sustainable tournament features improved composting and recycling practices as well as sustainability-conscious foodservice products. During the tournament week, the Simply Sustainable Display Tent will provide information for people to learn more about the sustainability movement and to instill better day-to-day habits.
Since 1984, the Marathon Classic has raised $12 million for over 190 children’s charities across Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan; two such charities are the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Jamie Farr Scholarship Fund administered by the Toledo Community Foundation.
