In 1942, Bing Crosby sang Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” in the film “Holiday Inn.” It became the best selling single of all time, with over 50 million copies sold. A little over a decade later, Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and more took to the screen with a film inspired by the song, which has since become a holiday staple for families around the world. Crosby and Kaye play a pair of war buddies who follow two sisters to a resort that is on its last legs.
