Lourdes Lifelong Learning program gives adults the opportunity to continue their education throughout their adulthood.
The program offered by Lourdes University allows members and non-members to participate in a variety of lectures, classes, events and even travel opportunities.
Participating in the Lourdes Lifelong Learning program will not only help you continue your education but also connect you with a community of other adults that are interested in learning.
Membership for the spring semester costs $30 and includes the free monthly lectures as well as discounts on Hot Topic lectures, travel, special events and classes.

As Lourdes Lifelong Learning has reached the midpoint of their spring semester, three of the free monthly lectures have already taken place. The remaining lectures include a Life Full of Music on Friday, April 19 and The Great Edmund Fitzgerald Mystery on Friday, May 17. Both lectures begin at 10 am.
Membership also gives you discounts on the monthly Hot Topic lectures. For $12 members can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch of soup, sandwiches and desserts, and afterward enjoy a lecture from an esteemed individual from the Greater Toledo community. The program has one more Hot Topic lecture of the semester left, Effects of the Pandemic on Immigrant and Refugee Children on Friday, April 19 at 11:15 am. Khaldoon Samkari, the English Language and Student Liason for Sylvania Schools will give the presentation.
Lourdes Lifelong Learning also offers adults an extensive course catalog, featuring classes that vary in length from 1 day to 8 weeks. Subjects include history, science, geography, music and more. Almost any topic you can think of Lourdes Lifelong Learning offers to adults interested in taking one of their classes, including “Baby Boomiest Decade,” “Glass City Architecture,” “Pioneering Women in Photograph” and much more.
Classes range in price level. Discounts are given to members.
Special events are also offered throughout the semester. Remaining events for the spring semester include Passover Sedar for the Interfaith Community on Sunday, April 7 at 4 pm, Fr. Bacick Lecutres on Thursday April 18 and May 23 at 5:30 pm, Arboretum Tour: Evergreens on Friday, April 26 at 9:30 am, the 180th Fighter Wing Base Tour on Thursday, May 2, at 10:30 am and the semester finale event, Eclectic Bellydancing Extravaganza on May 17 at 11:15 am.
Several travel opportunities are also given throughout the semester. This year they will be taking day trips to Tiffin, Cleveland, Ann Arbor, Detroit and to several wineries in Northwest Ohio.
