Support for caregivers

If you are caring for a loved one— whether it’s buying them groceries and medical supplies or preparing their meals— you know the toll it can take on you emotionally, physically and financially. The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio is an excellent resource to alleviate the strain of being a part-time or full-time caregiver with their National Family Caregiver Support Program, a five-part system that includes providing information on AOoA services; assistance accessing the services; counseling, support groups, and training; respite care to relieve caregivers of their responsibilities temporarily; and supplemental services.

To learn more about the program, contact the AOoA at
419-382-0624 or visit areaofficeonaging.com.
