Nuns receive grant

The Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania have received a grant of $20,693 from SOAR! (Support Our Aging Religious) to purchase medical equipment for Rosary Care Center, the long-term care facility for nuns and priests located on the sisters’ motherhouse grounds. The 14th SOAR! grant to the nuns since 1994 will be used to purchase electric beds, vital-sign monitors, an adjustable table and oxygen concentrator.
