The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization, assigns grades to hospitals across the country based on over thirty national performance benchmarks. The measured items include errors, injuries, accidents and infections, as well as an evaluation of the systems which hospitals have in place to safeguard against harm. Mercy Health — St. Anne Hospital received ‘A’ grades in the most recent Leapfrog Group findings.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio pays attention to those it serves and creates programs according to collected data which indicates the need for those services. As a result, the AOoA is again a winner of the National Award for Excellence for its Data-Driven Operations. This is the agency’s 15th Aging Innovations & Achievement Award!
