Take the opportunity to thank a veteran by participating in the Veterans Matter Walk, whose goal is to provide 20 or more veterans with housing. Throughout its history, the event has provided long-term housing for 3,000 veterans nationally, with a 91 percent success rate of keeping veterans from ending up back on the street.
