Join Hospice of NW Ohio and the Faith Community Nurse and Health Ministry Association as they present a free screening of the “Frontline” documentary based on Dr. Atul Gawande’s best-selling book Being Mortal. The film investigates the practice of caring for the dying and explores relationships between patients and their doctors. It follows Dr. Gawande as he shares stories from the people and families he encounters. Following the screening, a group of local professionals will discuss the importance of having end-of-life goals and preferences in place before a crisis occurs. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required by September 7.
