The Country Garden Club of Perrysburg is now accepting proposals for its 2025 community projects.
Grants are available to nonprofits, government entities, civic organizations, schools, and even private individuals whose initiatives align with the club’s mission, according to Jane Moore, chair of the community project program.
The club’s mission focuses on promoting horticulture knowledge, conservation, and enhancing the community’s natural environment. Proposals will be evaluated based on their potential to benefit both current and future generations in Northwest Ohio.

“In evaluating proposals, we give a great deal of weight to the project’s potential to serve and benefit the current public and future generations within Northwest Ohio,” Moore said.
In 2024, the club allocated over $48,000 to projects supporting organizations like Toledo GROWS, Bittersweet Farms, and Fort Meigs. Funding for these initiatives is primarily raised through the club’s annual Trunk Show each October.
Interested applicants can find proposal forms at cgcperrysburg.com. The submission deadline is January 15, 2025. Questions can be sent to cgccommunityprojects@gmail.com.
