Pickleball Takes Over City Parks This Summer

The City of Toledo is serving up a summer of fun with beginner-friendly pickleball clinics rolling into five city parks, giving residents a chance to learn the fast-growing game from the ground up.

Beginner-friendly pickleball clinics will be offered at five city park locations from May to September.

All classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8pm at various parks, beginning at Navarre Park in May before rotating to different locations each month until September.

The clinics aim to teach residents how to play the game by covering basic techniques and fundamental pickleball skills.

Classes cost $20 for the four sessions offered at each park, and include all necessary equipment to participate.
