Please check your calendar for a fun excursion on Sunday, November 27 and/or Sunday, December 4 from noon to 3 p.m. The bright lights and moving, colorful holiday display at Olander Park needs to be put into place.
Olander Park, 6930 Sylvania Avenue, is looking for volunteers to help their staff string holiday lights on trees, bushes, and assist with other displays. So, bring your friends and family for an enriching experience in the outdoors and help create a holiday experience for all to enjoy.
Dress warmly. Wear your gloves and hat and charge your camera to capture this holiday fun. You could be starting an annual tradition. You may come to appreciate a thermos of hot chocolate, also.
