Haunted Waterville Tours Explore History Through Horror

History and horror buffs alike unite: the Haunted Waterville Tours are the event for you.

The Waterville Historical Society started the Haunted Waterville Tours as a way to experience old Waterville and its haunted environment in an educational, yet creative way.

Small groups can get together at the Robbins House Museum, 114 S River Road, and meet special guests like ghost hunters, mediums, Tarot card readers and more. Each evening tour features a new guest.

After attending the house, the group boards a horse drawn trolley and takes a 45 minute tour of historic Waterville. Storytellers take visitors through the history of Waterville’s haunted heritage, and show specific locations where verified hauntings have happened.

There are several upcoming dates, including Thursday, June 15, Saturday, June 24, Thursday, July 20, Thursday, August 17, Thursday, September 7 and Thursday, October 5. The tour times run at 5:15 pm, 6 pm, 6:45 pm, 7:30 pm and 8 pm. The tour itself lasts an hour and a half.

This year, there is new content to experience on the tour. The Waterville Historical Society works to adjust the tour a bit each year for people to have new aspects of the haunted Waterville area to enjoy.

The maximum group capacity is 20. If you register with a group, you may qualify for a discount. Tickets are $30 each and kids under 12 get a free t-shirt. Tours will continue be it rain or shine, so make sure to plan accordingly. There are no refunds available, but tickets can be rescheduled for a different time.
