Cool Hand Luke (1967)

Cool Hand Luke (1967) – “What we’ve got here is failure to communicate.” One of Paul Newman’s most iconic performances sees him as Luke Jackson, a prisoner on a chain gang whose dogged determination to not break under pressure inspires his fellow inmates. Featuring a supporting cast full of talented actors— including George Kennedy, who won an Oscar for his role— Cool Hand Luke has since become a classic of cinema and recognized as a pioneering anti-establishment film.
