Park Apartments, a 45-unit supportive housing complex located at 201 Knapp St., is dedicated to helping young adults ages 18–24 build stable, independent lives. With on-site programs and services, residents receive the support they need to transition successfully into adulthood.
To continue providing a safe and well-equipped environment, Park Apartments is hosting a community donation drive. Local residents and organizations are encouraged to contribute essential items that directly benefit the young people and families served by the program.
Items currently being collected include pantry organization supplies such as totes, storage tubs, hangers, plastic drawer units and clothing racks. Donations of clothing for young adults (ages 18–24) and children under five are also welcome, along with new undergarments like underwear, bras and socks.
There is a particular need for new baby supplies, including diapers, wipes, bottles, pacifiers, bibs and toys. Hygiene products—such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste and hair care items for all ethnicities—are also in high demand.
Additional requested items include new household cleaning and laundry supplies, shelf-stable food (unexpired and unopened), pet care items like dog and cat food, litter, leashes and harnesses, as well as gym equipment to support residents’ physical wellness.
Every contribution helps create a more supportive and comfortable living environment for residents working toward a brighter future. For more information or to coordinate a donation, please contact Kae James at [email protected] or 380-223-1153.
