Metroparks strives to keep our ponds and lakes in harmony. Pearson’s Lake is out of balance. An over-population of carp is having a negative impact on the health of the habitat.

Help us remove the carp — and possibly be crowned Carp King in the process. Trophies, medals, prizes (adult & youth categories). Food trucks on site. First 100 to register will receive a Carp King T-shirt. We will have loaner poles and free bait, while supplies last.

All carp caught will be donated to the Toledo Zoo for animal feed.
