Word on the street is that dance is making a comeback!
Maybe the increase in dance afficiatos has something to do with Dancing with the Stars? Maybe it is seen as a great way to get out, do something new and fun? Maybe some see dance as a great alternative to running on a treadmill? Whatever the reason for the popularity of dance, it was something different, something fun.
The Toledo Tango Club
The Toledo Tango Club is an active group of dancers from all walks of life and representing all ages. No experience is necessary and new dancers are very welcome. Classes are offered weekly, practice days are Tuesdays and Dance Parties are scheduled a few times a year. For more information about this club, message them via their Facebook page.
The Tango is not the only dance form being taught and enjoyed in our community. Ballroom, Waltz, Latin, Swing and even Belly Dancing classes are available in our area. Many dance studios offer a variety of classes in both private or group formats. You do not have to have a partner to participate; a single person can find a partner in the group classes. Costs vary depending on the studio, but are generally less than a dinner out.
