Make Great Greek Burgers

I married a Greek man and he most definitely prefers Greek food over all others.  Over the years, I have learned how to make many Greek foods.  Years ago, we came up with our own recipe for Greek Burgers and find these are generally enjoyed by friends and family.  These are quick to put together, making them super for a weeknight dinner.

½ C. Fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
1# ground lamb (or half lamb + half ground chuck)
¼  C. Finely chopped onion
2-3 cloves garlic, finely minced
¼  C. Finely minced fresh parsley
¼  C. Finely minced fresh mint
½ C. Feta
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix bread crumbs with egg and allow bread to absorb moisture.
Add all remaining ingredients and gently mix.
Form into 4 burgers.
Grill.

Notes:

Increase or decrease ingredients based upon your preferences.  I never measure anything for this recipe.

We serve on a good quality bun without condiments but a sliced tomato added while grilling is a nice addition.
