Description
As the baby boomer generation continues to retire, our young leaders growing into these now-vacant positions are asking themselves, "Am I prepared for this?" In many cases, our young leaders have become invaluable in their current positions, but do they have the nerve and expertise to take the wheel and steer their business toward success and growth as new c-suite executives and owners? The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Development Center have created Drivers Ed to build our region's new leaders' confidence to run a business, make tough decisions, close major deals and, ultimately, grow their operations. In this 10-session course, Drivers Ed students will receive real-world mentorship from experts in the fields of accounting, banking, exporting, law, automation, sales, marketing, talent optimization, technology and more. Just as importantly, students will build their network with leaders in a position similar to their own, growing their business as they grow their support system. In this class, participants will learn as much from their peers as they do the speakers and experts, and drive the course curriculum as the year progresses. Take a Test Drive!
