The Great Lakes are the most important natural resource of fresh water on the planet and have a long history that is intertwined with the history of America. There are tales of how the lakes have been involved in from the fur trades to the successful passage via the Underground Railroad, to the rum runners. The Great Lakes have a long history and the National Museum of the Great Lakes highlights all of it.
This event is put on by the combined efforts of the National Great Lakes Museum and Ramsey Brothers Restoration. Admission is free for all NMGL members and kids, it is also included in the cost of a Museum Combo pass. Plan your day and join the festivities at the National Great Lakes Museum!
