Stories of the sea

By Kelly Thompson

A local music legend, Lee Murdock writes songs about America’s biggest geographic landmark—the Great Lakes. The multi-instrumentalist makes “folk songs for the modern era,” and will give audiences a night of songful storytelling in the show Lighthouse Legends and Songs of the Great Lakes.

$10. 7:30pm, Saturday, May 2. Pemberville Opera House, 115 Main St., Pemberville. 419-287-4848, pembervilleoperahouse.org
