S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald

The Great Lakes has a long shipping history. Join Lourdes University’s Lifelong Learning Program to learn the history of and theories behind the loss of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald. Carrie Sowden, Archaelogical Director of the Great Lakes Historical Society, will walk through history leading up to the ship’s disappearance on November 10, 1975—a puzzling mystery that remains unsolved today.

Members and first-time visitors enjoy free admission. Lourdes University, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania.
