It will rain lucky golf balls on March 13 in Waterville

Feeling lucky? The Waterville Chamber of Commerce invites you put it to the test with the 2021 Luck of the Ball Drop event. On Saturday, March 13, 500 foam golf balls will be dropped via drone at the site of the former Waterville Primary School. The owner of the ball that lands in or closest to the target hole will win $500, with $250 for the second closest, $100 for the third closest and $50 for the ball that ends up furthest away. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used toward grants benefitting Waterville businesses. Tickets to enter are $10 each or three for $25.
