Watch the 2020 Oscar Winners at Home

The 92nd Academy Awards took place on February 9, 2020, only three months ago, but it feels like it’s been a lifetime since that night. Every film that was honored with statues at the ceremony is now available for viewing at home, whether on a streaming service, to rent or to own. If you missed out on some of 2019’s best films, now is an excellent time to catch up. Here are all the major movies that won Oscars, as well as the best (and cheapest) places to watch them.

The story of two soldiers on the front line of World War I, director Sam Mendes’ stirring film was designed to appear as if it was all shot in only two long takes. 1917 received ten nominations in all and was a frontrunner for Best Picture.

AMERICAN FACTORY

FORD V. FERRARI

Based on the true story of the Ford racing team’s efforts to finally defeat the Ferrari team at the 1966 Le Mans race in France. Starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, the movie was nominated for four Oscars including Best Picture.

JOJO RABBIT

A World War II story told as only director Taika Waititi can tell it. The film focuses on a young member of the Hitler youth who must deal with the knowledge that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in the attic. Young Jojo also has a unique imaginary friend— Adolf Hitler himself.

A riveting, thrilling and controversial take on one of the most iconic villains in comic book history. Director Todd Phillips’ film gives a possible origin of the Joker, anchored by a riveting performance by Best Actor winner Joaquin Phoenix.
