AdvisorSmith, a nationwide insurance advisor, studied various data sets to determine the best and worst cities to retire to based upon numbers of retirees and cost of living. The findings were divided by community size: small, medium and large. No calculations for weather, etc were made.
Happily, Toledo came in #2 for large cities.
We found the study interesting and think you might as well, especially if retirement is in your near future.
