Peter Ujvagi Recognized For Supporting Immigrants

You probably know Toledo City Councilman Peter Ujvagi for his long career in local politics, but you might not know that he came from Hungary to Toledo in 1957. His life work, and his efforts supporting immigrants today, has been recognized through the ‘I Am An Immigrant’ campaign’s inaugural Celebrate Immigrants Awards. Ujvagi is one of ten recipients, with others including Senator John McCain and comedian Kumail Nanjiani.
